Thinking about new tires and wheels...
Thinking about new tires and wheels. Will keep my original rally’s with the stock tires. They put new BF Goodies on it when I bought my 71 but I love the look of deep dish cragars and wider tires. What can I go with without having to do any modifications? Ideas and suggestions welcome...🙂

The C-3 Corvettes have LARGE calipers. Make sure that whatever wheels you purchase, will clear them. I'm referring to the "backside" of the wheel's spokes....

yeah that looks amazing! Is the 17 x 8 - 4.07 a spacer or adapter I have to use? So you have the 255/50 - 17 all the way around? Will the change in wheel and tire size affect the accuracy of my speedometer?

Thank you. Direct bolt on. 255/50 - 17 at all 4 corners. The original size tire that the car was born with was an F70 - 15, which has a diameter of 26.9 inches. I had 245/60 - 15 tires, which has a diameter of 26.6 inches, on the original wheels. 255/50 - 17 has a diameter of 27 inches so, to make a short story long, no change in speedo accuracy. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Ameri...el,364760.html
I bought chrome Ridler 695's 18x9.5 rear and 18x8 front. They have the style of the old school Cragers. I don't have any pictures of them on my car as I haven't put them on yet. They have went up in price recently so you might find something else that cost less. Also check out BG Rodworks Old School. Those are nice too.
Yep,17" look good,, but 17" tire selection seem to be going the way of 15" in my area, fewer,,, I just went with 18",,, but agree, 15"x8" really look just correct,,,,🤷
