Seriously? My bride and I were washing her C6 on Sunday. We literally just finished washing it and were drying it off when this . . . . .
I'll post a pic of my C3 first since I hang out in the C3 area. My C3 to satisfy the section I am posting in We were literally drying the car after a good wash and this . . . . . . . Dang birds! LOL! All dolled up and hiding from overhead flying chit factories!

I was washing my C3 many years ago on a nice sunny day. Felt something wet drop on my bare back. I knew it wasn't a rain drop, lol! Good looking vettes!
Nice '69.
Nice Pachinko machines too. I still have my boy's machine.
Thanks! Those Pachinko's are fully functional and from the early 70's! They are a fun distraction at times! I also had one from the 50's but my father wanted it so I gave it to him.

I was at a cruise a few years ago at a Lake Erie shore side park with a friend of mine. I had my 75 C3 and he had a beautiful 84 Camaro Berlinetta. My 75 was one spot West of his all black with white leather seats 84. We were chowing down on some free hotdogs and coke when a flock of Canada Geese flew over. I was lucky with only a small deposit on my left front fender but a glob of wet goose poo went through his open passenger window and splattered all over the front seat and carried on to the drivers side rear seat. Luckily he lives about 5 miles away so he went home and cleaned all the nasties from his car and was back in a half hour.
When I was a teen, my best friend's uncle, who was only a few years older than us, bought a brand new Firebird.
They didn't have a garage, so he parked it on the street in front of the house. Of course, the birds perched on the wires above the new car and christened it.
My friend's grandmother (his uncle's mom), saw this and knew the uncle would be upset that the birds let loose all over his new ride. So she went out and cleaned off every spot of bird poop.
. . . with Brillo.
Everyone knew she meant well, but oh boy the damage she did to that car!
I'm going to guess that was 1978 or so, the family still talks about that to this day.

My Dad, God bless, owned a small restaurant all his life. We were cleaning up the Harley and there was some baked on grease on the chrome muffler. I knew better but let my guard down for a second. I turned around and there he was with aggressive steel wool ready to get it off. I just was able to stop him. When I explained it to him he balked and said it worked on the pots and had a puzzled look to him. I still think he had no clue.
What. a generation. Pretty did not count. Only functionality. He loved to help but was a big danger to himself and what’s he was helping on. Ike
Just finished my interior restoration last summer on my 71 and the birds got in the car and soiled the new carpet INSIDE the garage! Plenty of choice words with that!!
