I posted an earlier thread on wanting some detailed information on replacing the weatherstripping that goes under the vertical black windshield molding. This should be a little clearer than my earlier post. Was wanting some detailed information on how to get those pieces off and what brand of weatherstripping y’all might recommend. In the middle of the picture, it shows that little sucker I’m talking about. Thanks for any help!

these vertical mouldings do Not have a weather strip in them factory. However, as I outlined in your other thread. open the door, remove the top screw from the A pillar weather strip. (order new A pillar weather strips). remove A pillar weather strip from channel. Yes it will be glued in. once all weather strip and glue is removed, you will see 3 or 4 Phillips head screws. remove these. the weather strip channel can then be pried away, it is also stuck to the front vertical moulding with a adhesive foam tape. now you can remove the front vertical moulding which wraps around the A pillar and does NOT have a weather strip in it. The windshield is sealed with the urethane glue that mounts it to the windshield frame.
