Default Simple question on wheel size.

Yes, I've searched, and yes I've read conflicting posts.
Can I put 18 X 9 - 5" back space - 0" offset wheels on my stock '71 without any modifications. Specifically American Racing VN215 8961.
Thank you o' wise ones

I have 18X9.5 with 5.25" BS and I relocated my parking brake bracket to be on the safe side. In hindsight, I think it may have cleared, just barely. I'm sure if I had a 5" BS it would not have interfered with the pb bracket.

I have the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I think they are now replaced by the Pilot P4??? I have 275's on the rear and 245''s on the front. My fronts with a 4.5" BS will rub on the frame, not fenders, when full lock to lock, which only happens when parking in a tight spot. So I don't worry about it.

Yeah same here, my 255s rubbed on the frame at Full lock. My wife made a face every time I rubbed the frame.
