First 1982 silver/ claret two tone?
Good evening ladies and gents. Long time listener, first time caller. ! purchased a 1982 silver/claret Corvette 2 years ago. Last seven digits of vin code are 1000033. Anyway to find out if this was the first silver/claret two tone produced? Have searched the web with no production # to color documentation. Thanks for your help. I have used this forum for so much useful information!

Wow, that sounds like a tough one. certainly it was one of the first. but other than that. is it possible to find out all the colors of the first 33 cars. Wow. best of luck. But more over. why would it matter?

It is possible. You could order copies of the invoices for the 32 cars before you at $50 a piece.

Looks like your car was built on Oct. 26th and as noted above 007 was built the same day so I'm betting all the numbers in between were the same color. I read somewhere that they ran the 2 tones a bunch of the same color in a row. Still cool to have been built on the first day!
