there is no vin. all you can be sure of is if the date code fits the window considered acceptable for the engine or car assy date. i think the starter ships with the engine, not installed in st. louis, but not sure.
It is described as an early 1970 350 four-speed tranny. Also used in 71, but your date code indicates an early build. The original was painted semi-gloss black and installed at St Louis...not the engine plant.
