Rookie again...I have all the components and parts but no fasteners or screws. 1.) I found fastener kits for the main interior online...does anyone have a recommendation on which one to order? Secondly, I was thinking of parking in front of a Home Depot on a Saturday morning to pull a McGruber and fit all the behind the scene fittings together...is this just a mix n' match, find what works situation? Pic explains it! Any feedback would be appreciated! Thank you. Photo snapped from a video I took...low quality

Mix and match works for me. Being a boat owner, I've got small bins full of various size and types of stainless fasteners and trim washers. You can usually go up a size without greatly changing the appearance of a screw.
I also find rivnuts to be handy replacements for "U-spring nuts".
they are 6's and 8's. mainly 8's. get a couple of packs different lengths. oval, not flat head. a lot of these have 6 sized heads on 8 screws. i have chucked screws up in a drill and spun them while grinding head smaller. got decent results. but some you will just have to get the correct ones cuz the home depot stuff looks incorrect. windshield trim. be very careful. a lot of screws will hit and break the windshield if too long. you will be customizing the length of quite a few. some screw into 1 layer of the pinch weld and stop before going through 2nd layer as there is no hole.

fellow boat guy. where are the hangout areas near you? closing on a house in north port next week. we have too many boats. so we need to use em somewhere. dragging everything down from jersey one trip at a time is gonna be a pita.
I just bought the interior fastener kit. Came with several small bags, each marked with the location that particular fastener went to. Much easier than trying to "mix & match" on your own.
