Default Hard Top questions

This 74’ has been mine since January…. I finally removed the hardtop and now I have some questions.

it was not attached at the rear…. Just threaded bolts through holes and center tab through a raw hole in center rear….
wondering if there should be something decorative or and accent that is missing there..
wondering about the threaded bolts versus the soft top pins…. Wondering about what appears to be side bolt locations with nothing to bolt to and no bolts…
please educate me

All the hardware you need is available, zips,Paragon,Keen, corvette central. Just go to there site
or get a catalog. You will need a grommet on the deck lid and threaded sockets on the side. With
bolts. You’ll have to drill the wholes on the sides. Good luck. It’s not hard .

Thanks… I assume threaded bolts there so you can put a nut and washer and tighten down the rear??? And center tab/bolt is there just for alignment?

and if I understand you correctly… in order for the side tabs to be used I need to drill a hole in the deck where the hole lines up?

I think the center bolt pull the rear deck up tight to the weather stripping. Mine doesn’t have that (69)
Yes to the bolts the side bolts also. Go to one of the suppliers web sites and search you’ll see what I
am saying.

So drill hole for side mount (wherever the hole lines up when installed) here…. That makes me assume that the top was not purchased from the factory at the time because I would also assume the holes would have been drilled from factory…
