Well I finally got around to installing all the new interior parts that I have been collecting for the last year.
When I put the new diffuser vents in the gauge cluster there was only one clip holding them in ( an end clip).
What I need is the center clip ( the one that limits the rotation of the diffuser) and another end clip.
I have spent the last day surfing the web looking for these with no success...........any ideas?
Post a few pics (a couple close-ups also) of them in this thread....
maybe there is another use for them and they are listed under a different part name other than "clip".
Sorry no............
one of my friends has a 81 and is working on his gauge cluster and I looked at what he had.
Its basically a jesus clip (folder spring steel) that has a "foot" that puts pressure on the shaft of the defuser, and at the bottom of the clip there are two small extensions of the clip on both sides that limit the rotation of the diffuser.
Sorry for the description its the best I can do.
