Default Build Sheet 1968 Coupe

I would like to know the how my 68 was equipped from the factory; VIN #194378S412630
Any help would be appreciated

the vin says it was made in st louis and has a v8 engine.and it is a coupe.

Check out the C3 registry. It’s on there, but the description may not match how it came from the factory. As an example, it’s listed as Safari yellow, but pictures show a red coupe.

Type in C3 registry into any search engine and it’ll pop right up.

Just type c3 registry in google. Checking the trim tag on the drivers door pillar will also give you codes for original color and interior. Complete information can be found on the build sheet which is pasted on top of the gas tank to the the left of the filler cap. Absent finding the build sheet or other documentation from prior owners such as the POP there is no way to recover that information. Other locations for the build sheet may be underneath the carpet behind the seats, behind a kick panel, or behind the speedometer/tachometer under the dash. Good luck!

Unfortunately, unless you have factory documentation with the car, it's not likely you are going to find the information you want. Is there the chance the tank sticker might still be on the car?
