So every plate I stick on the front of my 76 Corvette looks like crap. What are some ideas? Is there a frame and a tag? Can you delete it and it looks good. Come show me what you got. I really need help lol

Since I occasionally imbibe and California requires a front plate, I went with this. Something personal is OK for me. Also I don't think it looks that bad with just the stock center grill and no plate.
For model year 1976, this plate came on the car when new, if the car was delivered to a state that did not require a front plate. A reproduction is sold by many vendors, NOS plates are $$$. https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corv...-120375-1.html
You can buy the center "grille" style at Ecklers I believe. If I didn't have personalized plates on my '73 it would be done like that. It is so clean looking!
Thanks NONN37, That Black car has never had a real front plate on in since I bought it in 1982. It has always had a USA-1 plate or was covered by a LeBra. We have to have 2 plates here in South Dakota but have never heard a word about it except when I walked out of a restaurant one time years ago in Colorado and a cop told me he was going to write me ticket for not having a front plate. I told him we only needed one in South Dakota and left. I did live in New Mexico for a while and they only require one.

I was on a couple of E-bay bidding wars, I happen to score this one a few years back after being out bid 3 times in the closing seconds on my previous attemps. This one is the real deal and casted in metal (the after market ones are plastic and so are the ones for '72 and older
