Default Advantage Lift Operational

Finally put the car on the lift for the first time. Everything cleared including the air jack. Love the LED lights. Now I can adjust the headlights while standing.

Nice car. Very nice. Thanks for posting.

Questions:
Can you share some detail on the LED lights?
It seems to me that these lights would create a conflict with the jack when sliding it fore/aft on the ramps. No?

I would like to have fixed lighting on my lift but I use the jack and haven’t figured out how lights would get along with the jack abs drip trays.

Thanks
Don

l bought the light kit from Advantage lift. It cost $180.00. The kit consist of 2 - 14' long heavy duty LED strips, a switched intermediate wire harness and a transformer. The actual strip is about 3/8" thick with pretty strong magnetics to position them where you want. I put them on a 45* right in the corners of the tracks. My rolling air jack clears with no problem. A bit pricey at first but after installing them, I feel they are worth cost. They are much better quality than some I bought off Amazon for $40.00 each side. They are very flimsy and no attachment method. These just work. I think this is a classic example of, you get what you pay for

I bought 2 1/2" system from Zip Covette. It stock configuration intermediate pipes only. It came with 2 bends at the back to connect the N11 off road mufflers. The N11 muffler has 1 less baffle than stock. Sound great to me. But when you get on it,, it barks. Anyways, once fitted and connect the the long tube header, I disassembled it and had it ceramic coated. This really helps keep the heat down and increases the scavenging effect of the exhaust. Hope helps.

just sharing. Well over 10 years to get to this point. Not bragging just sharing. It takes a lot of effort and dedication to do a 9 year full nut and bolt restoration and then outfit my garage to continue as I get to my mid 60's. I find it uncomfortable getting down and back up working under the.. I have a 1980 pick for my next project. Just showing what can be accomplished on a budget with a focused plan.

GOOD JOB
ceiling hight is 11'. I can get the car all the way up and have 6' under it. I can also get my 1980 ford pickup under for storage. BTW the steer is excellent.. I had some guy from CT blueprint the box. Thank you GTR1999 you do great work. The differential you advised me on seems to work as it should. Again thank you.
