I have the long tube style Hooker headers with side pipes that are not very visible from under the hood. I feel it’s important to mention this when my question compares another style header set that is VERY visible under the hood (see photos).

I’m returning to the factory chrome distributor cover with the side arm covers that conceals the wires. I want to go back to the factory wire covers that route the wires close to the block and under the exhaust manifolds (see photo of a SBC with those wire covers and clips)

Here is the question: Can I use the OEM wire covers with the Hooker headers? See photo of my motor.
