Default 71 Coupe - orphan wire

I'm looking for some insight and advice. I found an orphan green wire and I don't know where ir is supposed to go. Any help is appreciated.

That looks like the connector that on a 1972 is for what is called a TCS temperature switch. The switch is screwed into the block between the #6 and #8 cylinders. If all your original heat shields are in place ( I can't really tell from the photos), you'll see the hole in the middle of the chrome shield over those two cylinders where the switch is.

With your fingers or a mirror, you should be able to get the orientation of the 2 male spade terminals to plug the connector in.

I have one of those cool Endoscope cameras (i think I paid $39) that connect to a mobile phone. Since the the shielding sits on top of the TCS sensor I couldn't see it so this camera which really helped.
