I have them on my '74 coupe (2) on each side. They have to be cut to size for what you need to lift the hood up between the hinges and the latches. They come with a double side tape on one side of the rubber block, they are a hard rubber, they do not compress, they make the hood follow the fenders edge
Can't remember which vendor I got the cushions from, maybe Ecklers. Four to a pack.
You likely will use only two. Its a very tedious task to get them just right in the fender trough.
Use one inch masking tape to hold them in place for test fitting. Depending on your hood warpage or lack of, will determine where to place the pads.
Starting half way between the hood hinge and latch, tape one cushion on each fender. Close hood. Check alignment. Open hood, move pad, etc.
Once you are certain of pad placement, remove the masking tape and mark location on the fender with a Sharpie. I used a clear rubber adhesive on two sides of the cushion.
I would not trust the sticky side of the cushion to hold for any length of time.
there is a weatherstrip around perimeter of the hood. at least mine has one. it is loose. when it is in place hood sits right. when not, hood sits low.
