let me say this! body cracks, then expect them with poly. Now getting a good set of rubber?? I don't know. I took the HD springs out of my 67 coupe because of the ride. Buy polly mounts and HD springs and yes, a body belt for your back and a (how to repair fibre glass book)\
I do agree on the rubber quality, but the out come of ridge on a vette changed my mind.

Delrin is an amazing material..on top of being self lubricated which makes it the polymer of choice for parts that move, it is such a beautiful material to machine..and it's not expensive.

I had no idea lead use to be in rubber..but I am pleased to hear it is NOT used any more.

IF what you say is true about the newer rubbers lessened longevity, it is a price we should be willing to pay.

That stuff is bad news.

It seems equally divided along the rubber vs polyurethane debate. I'm wondering if those who are pro polyurethane had bad experience with rubber and if you did, was those bushings exposed to heat (missing heat Shields, headers, inner fender shields missing, etc) road salt (god forbid!) Fluids getting on them?
I tried googling about the lead in rubber and got nothing.
I also have something to say about the EPA, the Paris peace Accord, and China. But I like being here, I got a vacation elsewhere.

Something wasn't right or they were junk from go cause did the same on my fox and they still are there, didn't put a ton of miles on the car being a drag project but a lot more than 4
