Saw a thread here from years ago about someone making a mold for an lt1 long hood for 68-76. Does anyone know where one can be purchased?
It looks like this one would work but it says you have to have a later model windshield. Not sure why but other than that this looks like it might fit the bill. Does anyone have this hood?

Something looks wrong on the pics of the Craigslist hood. The female hood latches look to be in the identical position, relative to the rear edge of the hood, as a standard hood. If this was a hood long enough to do away with the wiper door and the grille panel I'd expect to see an additional 10" or so of hood length between the hood rear edge and the latches.

keen eye you got there. You might be right. They list it as l88 but it’s lt1 style. I believe the l88 was different.
Yup. The photo shows a nice, stock big block/LT-1 hood. The seller's description is wrong; it's not L88, and it's not the long style. Buyer beware. Here's what an Eckler's 10421 looks like:
