Thanks for the advice. They sell c3 seat seat brackets.........frankly, the original equipment seats are some ugly stuff as well......flat, uncomfortable, etc....
Bear in mind...there were 'at least' three types of floors in C-3's and about the same amount of different seat tracks.
Most C-3 guys go with;
Later model 79-82 Clamshell seats. or
Fiero seats.
Fitment is particularly difficult in the 1968-72's where the floors were just one layer of fiberglas. The seats were anchored in captive fasteners molded in the floor.
I have Cipher Seats in my 69. I fabbed up my own brackets...it's tight but fit. I had to loose the seat recline cover. Don't care cause you can't really see it.
More modern corvette seats can be adapted also! Not an answer to your question, but another option.
I put C5 Z06 seats in my 69 and love them! Way more support and comfort!

I scratch my head every time I see this....I own a C5 and I like a ton of other owners toss the stock C5 seats cause "they suck". All relative and NOT a dig at your choice! Just funny to me. And yes to keep this on thread that is totally an option and more bolt in vs Cipher seats.
