Corvette Rubber Company started by Jay Price in the seventies is always recommended to be the best. Years ago I bought GM over the counter door seals and they were so stiff that it took years for you to really be able to close the doors easily! Had to use the rump bump.
I guess I am showing my age here! Lou.

Thanks, don’t remember the vendor but I had some that made the door way too tight.

I used Corvette Rubber Company, when I changed all the weatherstripping on my 1970 coupe. The fit was good, and I didn’t have any problems with closing the doors or t tops. After two years now, the condition of the weatherstripping still looks good.

Did all my weather stripping doors, tops, and pillars with Corvette Rubber about 6 years ago. It is still like new. The only thing I did, may not have been necessary, was
I latched down the t-tops and closed the doors and left them unopened for about 3 days. Seemed to seat everything. Never had a problem opening/closing the doors or taking the tops on or off.
