I've been in the market for a C3 so I started looking around, asking on websites, forums. I wanted an either a 74/75 convertible or an 80 and found some nice low mileage candidates. Found a nice low mileage 74 but that deal fell through. Recently for a 75 that has 11,000 miles, original owner parked in a garage since 1978. Until recently the soft top had never been out of the top well. Put a deposit on the car and should pick it up in a few days. Rare color, both tops, deluxe interior but only the L-48 motor, even the clock works! The only negative thing about the car is it needs a bumper. On these early cars the urethane used to make the bumpers wasn't quite perfected and over time the bumper would literally crumble and fall off the car.
Good old 1970s greens. Very similar color to my first car - 1972 Mustang - except it had very small gold metal flake in it. I would have to go with a 69 or 70 for C3. Get it up and running and enjoy it.
Just a quick question, are you sure that’s a 1975?, the reason I am asking is because it appears to be a Elkhart Green color car which was only available in 1972 and 1973. I’m sure if you check the VIN number, you could verify what year it is, also if the blue GM certification sticker is still attached to the drivers side door , by the door lock, it might also give a clue as to the month and year it was produced.
nice car though, 11,000 miles is hardly anything, Good luck with the car!
Regards
Roy
Edit: it doesn’t have the egg crate side grills, so I’m thinking it might be a 1973 model
