The issue of vintage air hoses taking up enormous volume behind the driver dash and the center stack is pretty frustrating
does vintage air make any flat/oval hoses people can use instead? Or can something like that be purchased elsehwere? or smaller diameter hoses that won't take up nearly as much volume?
I feel your pain brother. Fortunately I haven't been behind my bezel for a long time (6 months? lol) I've thought about re-engineering that mess but in the end I just stuff it back in and hope that all the connections stay put. I have seen a post where someone downsized the ductwork by using Sears vaccum hose and fittings. "Here are the ducts, hot glue saved my butt! center lower duct is a sears shop vac nozzle glued to a slice of the factory center dash ducting."
