Is there anyone here that has a resource that can look up a VIN and give information pertaining to build date, window sticker and options list, and other little historical nuggets?
Model year? There is no option information in the VIN for early cars and only engine codes for the later cars. Time\built date is in the upper right corner of your trim tag. The Corvette Black Book lists options for each model year.

It is possible to purchase a copy of the dealer invoice for later C3s, perhaps 77 or even later. And you can download a helpful PDF with production numbers of specific options (and lots of other stuff) here:

Where are all the codes printed on the car? I know from the VIN that its a Corvette coupe with base engine, model year 73 built in St. Louis, and was number 5535 off the line.
