Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on your C3!
I would suggest asking this question in the C3 General section at: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/.
This is more of a "hello" section.
Best wishes finding the parts you need.
-Hello and welcome!! I get parts from Zip Corvette and WIllcox, bith of whom have been very good. Check around, there are some places that are more specialized than others, dependong on what your specific needs are. We look forward to pictures of your prize!
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new 80.
It all depends on what you are purchasing.
I’ve had great service dealing with Corvette Central for general parts.
The quality of the parts I received and their customer service are great.
Gary Ramadei GTR1999 is the worlds best for any rear differential, steering box, or trailing arm rebuilding.
Richard454 for electric head light conversions.
David Howard AllVette4Me for any chassis related parts or information.
For any suspension needs, I recommend Van Steel Racing.
Interior parts I recommend Al Knoch Interiors.
Silver Sport Transmissions for anything tranny related.
American Auto Wire for electrical wiring harnesses and connectors.
Summit Racing for any speed or under hood dress up equipment, unless you have a good local speed equipment shop you trust.
I’ll think of some more and get them posted up.
Just type the name in "search this forum"".
If you look at the page now there appears to be a number of delays and lack of communication with some of the vendors. Hopefully things will improve soon.
ZIP has always been good for me. Corvette Central for exhaust systems.
I've stopped all on-line ordering for the time being.
I've ordered several parts that show "in stock" only to receive an email a couple of days later notifying me of delayed shipments dates, temporarily out of stock or currently discontinued items.
Now I'm calling in all my orders and if the vendor can't confirm they have the part on the shelf I won't order it.
At least none of the vendors have charged my card on out of stock items and only charge me when an item has shipped.

Just a word of caution on parts. It's always better to refurbish or restore any OEM parts that you feel needs attention verses buying reproduction parts. Depending on the part, Repo's are nowhere near the fit, finish and quality of OEM parts, but sometime you have no choice.
