That's a tough one.
If you have a Doc Rebuild wiring diagram, the connector may show there. Or, look over the car closely to see if something looks missing. Looks like it might be a ground wire for a component.
Are you positive that it's from a Corvette?
Ok AC ground clutch sounds right. Below is a pic of the green wire that was going to be a future post that had no home (I'll have to figure out how to get that wire secured into the connector). And I am assuming the connector plugs into the side of the AC compressor. Where does the ground connector (thing with the metal ring) get anchored to?

I know the green wire doesn't go thru the hole, it was just the easiest way to keep it in the photo.
