have you had the battery load tested?
have you tested for a parasitic drain?
have you tested alternator output?

If you don't want to search for a drain, put a simple battery disconnect on the battery. I have one and my batteries last for years.

A bad diode in the alternator can cause this, or a short somewhere else.

Like @C6-CYa, my solution is a $10- battery disconnect. But I only use it if the car is parked for a week or more.

Do you have a multimeter and know how to find the offending circuit?

if Not storing where warm place (assume gets very cold there), I suggest either the trickle charger or removing battery to a warm place. If it goes dead in COLD place it could freeze & bust open making huge mess. These are things that are not issues in southern places that us Hibernators have to be aware of.

If your new battery is a good battery, and it dies in a couple of days, then you DO have a drain.

A disconnect is fine, but it is not a fix. The underlying problem still exists.

A battery disconnect is a band-aid fix.
You need to fix this issue properly.

Like others have said, pull fusses one at a time. (make sure dome light is not a factor)
ALT diode.

Check and see if the storage compartment light behind the seats is staying on with the door closed. I had a bad switch that was causing the battery to drain down over time.

I doubt this is your issue, OP, but a good reminder for all forum members who's cars may sit a period between being driven much : It doesn't hurt to every once in a while rock the battery back and fourth many times (vigorously) to mix the electrolyte, esp before charging, or periodically if it's sitting with a maintainer charger. This will help reduce stratification of the electrolyte and water, and add life to your battery. For this reason I don't bolt down the lead-acid batteries on cars I seldom drive. Makes it easier to rock back/fourth (vigorously). Note: AGM batteries shouldn't stratify like this.

Also a heavily stratified L/A battery can mimic a weak battery. Just a reminder....

Parasitic Battery Drain

To measur
e parasitic battery drain you need to connect a digital multimeter to the negative battery terminal and measure amps.

To measure parasitic battery drain you need to connect a digital multimeter to the negative battery terminal and measure amps.
...and start pulling fuses, and/or connectors.

Besides shorted wires, aftermarket USB stations, Bluetooth devices, Radios, etc, can be a source of high drain, as can any aftermarket device. Don't overlook the possibility of shorted (broken) wires in your door if you have power windows. Brittle wires can break after a thousand door openings/closings.
