VIN # question
Hey everyone. I inherited my dads 79’ after he passed last year. I have learned a lot about the car, but had a question about the VIN #. I had issues insuring the vehicle because it is one digit short. But I’m also trying to figure out L48 or L82 but the 5th digit doesn’t match other things I’ve read. My VIN is
1Z8789S426426. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Cool! ZAJ is a California L48 auto, and it looks like the VIN derivative matches, so it has the original engine.
That car looks awesome. The turbine wheels are extra special. I'm sorry for your loss, but it looks like his car is in good hands. Go drive the wheels off of it!
