Default TI Dist. Readings

Hi, I have a 69 427/435, checking out the dist. before I install it. What are the normal readings on the pick up coil, I get .601 ohms on the two wires, out of car. The ohms move up and down slightly when I move the wires.

I'd suggest using a mity-vac and cycle the vacuum advance a few times while reading the ohm meter to check for drop outs in the readings..

I used the mity-vac on the vacuum advance and the #'s stayed the same. Is that good? Thanks
