It’s close.

The car is 182.5 inches. The garage is 193 inches.

So 5 inches on either side. Close !

Silly question. Do the front clips sometimes fall off ? Are there any points I can check to predict and avoid ?

They won’t “fall off” but you would be smart to provide some support, especially if you pull it with headlight assemblies and core support/radiator installed. It is a lot of weight on a long moment arm and can stress the fiberglass in numerous areas.

Notice the 2x6 that I strapped to the cage.

Leave the rad support attached to the inner fenders so you have something to support the front of the nose with. If unsupported for a long time the bonds at the firewall will let go. Some of them. On the plus side, it is real easy to adjust the door gap at the windshield by jacking the nose up farther.
