Default Build sheet - So close

I am working on the rear suspension on my 82 and I recently pulled the spare tire hub. I just happen to look up and I saw a piece of paper and realized that is my build sheet hanging down! I tried pulling it down but its hung up on something and just started ripping when I pulled. I was able to read a small corner which just has a few meaningless codes. I'll just leave it there until I have to pull the tank for some reason.

Pulled this out today from a 77. I had to pull the driver side dash pad out and this was in the wiring harness. Flattened it out and it looks pretty good. You might want to check the dash pad if this is important to you

the ones under the dash are invariably in better shape. they were inside for 45 years instead of out in the weather...

Found mine when o took the gas tank out. Was in good shape but I had to be careful dusting it off. I was able to find out what dealer ordered it. It is out of Pennsylvania and found pictures of the dealer before it went out of business. The Corvette Corner. Anyone know any vetted from there?

Check to see if the NCM has a copy of the build sheet for your 82. If they have it, leave your original where it is and you the NCM copy.

I just tried getting mine out yesterday. I dropped the tank a little to reach up. Mufflers ore already out. I got a good angle from going up where the antennae is. But the sheet has a glue splot holding it in place.
First I heard of them in dash though.....

If you pull the drivers side dash pad forward a little it is wedged in the main wiring harness that runs above the speedo and tach.

I’ve heard this before too but when I looked I had nothing there. Could’ve been taken out already or maybe not all cars got one their.

All cars got the sticker on the gas tank. Only a few got them in additional locations like under carpet, in trailing arm pocket, stuffed behind dash, etc.

I know mine is there. I won’t even bother. It stays in the garage all year .

Thanks
