I have a nearly complete set of Corvette Glassware featuring corvettes into the 80s.
I have several duplicates of the 78 with an autograph and a date. ( I cant tell if the date is 77, or 97)
Does anyone remember these? Know their history?
Whats a 78 glass might be worth to a collector?
.50 cents to $2 each at a garage sale. Really, no slight intended but these are very generic glasses. One appears to have a 1985 copyright stamp so I don't believe there's ever going to be any real "collector" value here. The cars pictured are not even year specific, rather they give a "to and from" listing of the body style, except for the 79-82 glass, those years have distinctly different body styling. And does the glass at the far left say "1983 to 86"? If they were mine I would try to find 8 different guys who each own a car from an era pictured and give it to them as a gift. The black and gold set in the rear has a nice mid-century look. Cheers, Greg
I'm thinking they are worth a little more than that.
Not all of us have them. Broken down to year specific if possible. Those of us with those cars would be happy pay 20 bucks a glass.
If it represents our car.
If you have one that looks like a 77 send me a PM
They may be listed for $25 but that doesn't mean they sell... there are hundreds of Corvette glasses for sale, garage sale value would not be much, unless there was something really special about these glasses.
Selling individually on eBay would be the best way to go, or ship to Australia where you'll get the big bucks LOL
