Default 1968 Washer Pump Wiring - HELP!!

Experts - For the life of me, I cannot find where to connect the blue and yellow wires with bullet connectors coming off the engine harness to the washer pump...I have read through several threads and see where I should pull off the wiper motor cover and should be able to see the wires coming out of a relay that runs the pump. In the picture below, I am assuming that the relay is the black piece on the right side of the housing; however, there are not connectors coming out of it. Are they missing? Also, on the far right of the pic, you'll see a black wire with a connector on it. The wiring diagram that I have states that this is the wiper motor ground wire, but the ground appears to be on the relay where the bottom screw for the cover attaches. Your help is much appreciated!

you have to actually put the pump on the unit first ! You have the wiper arm drive motor there
Here's a link to a pump , you can see the two brass points on the top where your wires would go

68 Correct 3 Port Windshield Washer Pump (corvettecentral.com)

It wont let me write any text but you should get the idea , you looking at the pump face that goes toward the wiper arm driver part.

I know 68 had a one off wiper system , that arm drive looks differant , might be the 68 differance

If anyone could provide an actual under the hood pic of how and where these wires are connected it would be most helpful! Thanks—Lee

Ok , I thought getting a 68 only clear picture would be easy right ? I don't have one in my files and google pics has thousands of 69 onwards , but as I mentioned 68 is one year only . So just to make sure of what you have .

In the link that Carriljc provided is a great diagram for the main wiring .It does'nt show the pump of course ,nothing is easy !

the pump itself has the connections on it. You dont have the pump. It bolts ontot he face of the wiper motor. THat pin on the rotating assembly that points outward goes into the pump. As the motor spins it spins the pump. when you push in the switch it closes a relay that pumps the fluid.

the original pins for the connections were barrel pins. The replacements are usually spade connectors
this is a 69 but it operates similar the 68 only has 3 nipples, 1 in 2 out

If you look just above the copper wire magnet you can see the female barrel receivers opposing each other
they sticj though the black cover you cant miss them
