Hello all, wanted to thank everyone for answering all my questions before I bought my 1975 vette !! She is a beautiful 1 car owner with 9,800 original miles and it’s all documented !! This is my first mid year C3, so I may have some more questions from time to time .. thanks again for the help with my new purchase ..
Wow... nice original '75. 4-Speed, A/C, Tilt/Tele, leather, full power. I really enjoy seeing survivor cars like this. You think you will get it Benchmarked at Bloomington Gold? Congratulations!
very nice car looks to be solid. but not a mid-year. that is the term for 63-67's when our c3's were late models. then the C4maro came along and they hadda number everything.

The grease pencil mark on the front crossmember calling out the optional Gymkhana suspension (FE-7) is great!
So is the frame rail stencil!
Do I see a switch on the forward console trim plate for the optional rear window defogger?
Post more pics, please! We love pics!
thank u I appreciate it.. I knew the car was in good shape and was floored when I found the chassis markings on the frame . To be honest I never knew about the gymkahana suspension.. just curious does that add any value 🤷♂️

Chassis markings like on your car help to confirm the low 9,800 miles the odometer shows..
The Gymkhana Suspension (FE-7) option probably doesn't add any value to the car. It might mean something to someone looking for a fully optioned car. I have it on my '75 convertible. For $7.00 you received a larger front sway bar, an added rear sway bar, different front and rear springs, and different shocks. It was equiped on 3,194 cars for Model Year 1975, or 8.3% of the cars. Confirm that your car has it by observing a 7/16" rear sway bar.
Do you have the rear window defogger? I though I saw the switch for it.
Nice car, almost too nice to drive it but drive it and enjoy it. One thing to watch if can keep it out of the sun for long periods- the original bumpers are probably dried out now and may crack. The 75 we bought years ago had nice bumpers but 3 months sitting in the sun everyday took care of that, they literally cracked and fell off.

Nice car. I hope it won't be a trailer queen. My rear bumper cover cracked and was stored in a garage except for putting on 100K miles, lol. But once the cracking started above the tail lights, it was only a year or two later and it was done!
