Does anyone have pictures of storage or shipping boxes for trailing arms? I'm going to box my old ones, (complete with bearing supports, axles, and parking brakes) for storage. Looking for ideas.
My only thing is keeping the arm(s) from moving around in the box. I really don't like to pick up a box that is kind of heavy and then having whatever is inside it move.
Once you have the box built, put the arm assembly in and see how much movement you have. You can fab restraints out of a 2x4 and screw into position, securing against any movement.
I'm thinking member GTR1999 might have sketches for a box. He ships regularly.
I'm using annealed tie wire and screws to secure heavy items in shipping. You might try that,,
