None of my power seat buttons work,so took it off the seat and unhooked the wire harness going to it,sanded the contacts and spayed with WD40,and hooked the wires back up and nothing,so where can I get a replacement from.
Looked for a fuse didn’t find it,so no not sure it’s getting power,is there something I could check with a meter or something, here are some pictures.
It uses the 35 amp circuit breaker which is also used for the power windows. You will find it at the top center, slightly to the right on the fuse block under the dash. It is a silver looking part. There are two on the fuse block but you want the one at the top, should be marked Power Windows.
Now under the seat is a harness running from the power seat harness back over toward the center console. It will be a two wire lead and should be a pink or orange and black harness. Just follow it over to the main switch harness and that will be the harness you can test. Black of course is ground and the orange or pink wire will be the hot power wire.
The switch itself is almost impossible to find and expensive if you do find one, even used. Looks like yours is broken on the one switch mounting area.
thanks, yea I broke that piece, and I bought from a short woman, and I’m not tall at 5/10,and I’m crouched up driving,I’m assuming no manual way just to get the seat back.
Well if you get power to the switch you can still operate the front switch and the main middle switch. The main middle can raise or lower the front and back at the same time plus move the seat forward and back. If you pull up on the main switch, it will raise the entire seat. Then you can use the front switch to adjust the front of the seat.
Yea from what I can tell the motors are no good, but was able to pull the squared like cable out the motor and turn it by pliers.
But have you actually verified power to them yet by checking the two wire harness? Those motors are pretty robust and odds are that all 3 have not gone out. Its all guessing unless you use a meter or even a test light on the 2 wire harness to see if you have actually got power there.
