There are no A/C vents in the dash, the controls appear to be for heat/defrost only, plus there are fresh air vent controls in the console (n/a on an a/c car). That was never an A/C car. Add one more issue to the list.
Hi crew - I'm new to the forum and looking to buy my first Corvette. I've zeroed-in on 1969-1971 models and am going to look at a 1970 this afternoon. Based on my research of similar vehicles around the country this seems priced a little high at $36,500 but I'd like to hear from you all. Assuming it's in great shape as it appears in the pics, do you think this is a good price for a '70 coupe with the L46 motor and 4-speed transmission? Link to the listing is below. Thanks in advance for the help!
You should bring up these issues with the dealer. That way they cannot state they were unaware of them.
Most of these dealers play dumb. I assume a lot of these cars are consignments. It makes it real easy for the dealers to pass the Buck. Ike
Yeah...now that I've been doing some research, I'm told this particular dealer is...uh, not great. Horrible Yelp reviews and I also talked to 2 used car inspection guys in L.A. who (politely) said they are not a great outfit. Thankfully I had the guys on this forum to educate me so I didn't make a bad decision. I pointed out the issues to the sales guy and he basically nodded his head and I was thinking "He's just waiting for someone to come in who isn't as educated on what to look for" - again...that would have been me if I hadn't gotten such good input from CorvetteForum!
