Default worth the money
found a automatic 76 coupe with 40k mileage clean interior and no outstanding issues for $10,000 is it worth it

Hagerty values a '76 L48, if that's what it is, in #2 excellent condition at $16,500.
#3 good shape $10,700...

Maybe, need pics and details. These are budget friendly models but there’s a dramatic value drop off between nice driver and a crap wagon

If it's worth $10K, it's worth taking a few photos.

Are you 100% sure you want an automatic? That will take another $5K to fix.
