Default AC service port

I have an original operating R12 system and want to add some Freon. I have some 1 lb cans. I want to be sure which port is the low pressure side to connect it to. I’m going to assume it’s one of these. Any help will be appreciated.

I don't have an A6 compressor in my vette. It looks to be the one on the right. Easy way to tell if it still has freon in it is to run the A/C and see which pipe gets cold. The port that corresponds to that pipe is the low pressure one.

one hose goes to the condenser from the compressor. that is high pressure side. one comes from firewall box back to compressor. that is the low side. the solid line running along fender edge from condenser back to firewall is also high pressure.

High side is the port closest to the passenger fender!!
