Default Brake Parts Question

Need help please:
What is best source for factory correct front and rear rubber brake hoses to calipers.
It's been a while but getting ready to replace on my 68 and I want correct hoses as car is factory original.
Thank you

As was mentioned on the other forum, there are no factory correct hoses out there unless they're 50-year old NOS. Consider that 40 lbs of driver's foot force on the pedal will exert in the neighborhood of 230 lbs of line pressure through the fluid. A full-on hard stop could exert 700 lbs of line pressure. Under those kinds of forces, a weak rubber hose will balloon or outright fail.

If the car is Trailer queen and never really driven, except on and off the trailer. Well then search high and low for original NOS hoses. That will no doubt be no better than what your taking off.
Now if you wish to actually drive the car safely, then get some quality replacement lines.
No Compromise for safety.
I understand that your probably the kind of owner that worries about the correct markings on the heads of bolts.
But the Factory just does not supply these anymore.

Me too. I realized when replying to you that one of my cars has not had its hoses changed in at least 30 years. Better take my own advice!
