This is not the same as my avatar pic. I keep getting sucked into buying these pics from the track photographer at 50 bucks a pop for the digital version.
Anyway, on this one I like how there doesn't seem to be too much weight on that left front tire.

Awesome car and great photo! I see you have a 383 stroker in the car. Have you ever done a dyno run to see what kind of power is hitting the track? It has to be good with a launch like that!

Oh yeah. If that ever happened I buy the poster size.

Never dynoed it, but I don't think chassis dyno numbers would be very impressive, in my case with the auto trans. Going by various charts relating car plus driver weight to quarter mile speed (110 at best) yields about 380 flywheel HP. My car really makes its good ETs with the launch as in the pic. 60 ft time on that run was 1.72 sec.

If you get a chance visit some of the Stock Eliminator guys running at a NHRA event. They can help you get your combo to work on the starting line.

Cool picture, I enjoy seeing Vettes on the track.

Here is a video of a local racer from Nova Scotia, (John Armstrong), always enjoy seeing him run.
