Default Heater core bypass

Hi guys,

I’ve got a leaking heater core so I need to bypass it. Since my car is an LS5 with ac I’m not just sure how to do it. I got the expansion tank under the rh fender. Can I reroute the hose from the intake manifold to the expansion tank or do I need to do something else? Can’t fint anything when searching.

Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core and connect them together. Can’t imagine that an LS5 is significantly different than an L48 or any other heater core that I’ve bypassed over the years.

Hose clamps are a reasonable temp remedy until you can to the heater core project.
