Default C3 OPEN HEADERS video...THE COPS CAME!

As promised here is a youtube video of me running open headers. on the 79 L82.. I know... it's a bit late... I put the headers on a month ago but I've just been having so much fun driving around the car and haven't been able to take any good videos! Yesterday when we were setting up for a party my buddy took some pretty good videos and something crazy happened after (police tried to tow the car blah blah) so I figured yep I should show the fellas on the forum this instead of some lame 5 second idle and two rev video lol. Shortly after doing some pulls around the neighborhood, some Karen (an annoying middle-aged white lady) started recording my buddies and me and screaming at us. We told her to calm down and that we would stop. But, that wasn't satisfying enough for her, and so 10 minutes later 5 cops came knocking on the door. The cops couldn't figure out who owned the car at first, so they threatened to tow the Vette if the owner "Tayvn" (me) didn't fess up. None of us admitted I was, in fact, Tayvn and eventually after an hour they just left... They never actually heard how loud the car was and it is insured and parked on private property so they couldn't technically do anything... Very clearly were just trying to scare some dumb teenagers lol.

Here is the

It does sound cammed but it's not it's just the stock L82 cam. The chop is really nice and ill attach an Instagram post down below of a short clip of the chop at idle as well for yall.

LOL, sounds like the results of my cannon days. I'm getting so mellow I didn't even touch one off on my birthday.

Glad you like your C3. And that you can wrench on it. Looks like a nice one too.

That said, I'm guessing most/all your neighbors wish they could do what I'm about to do. Ignore function. Poof.

Stay safe.

Cannons LOL
Every 4th of July the corner house across the street would fire his off (same as yours) into a pretty deep hole in his backyard
Guy owned a roofing company, his sons and their friends were wild & out of control most days.
Least the guy was cool about it, knocked doors a day or so in advance and let the neighbors know they were gonna be up..late n loud.

Literally shook every house in the neighborhood. Fireworks, burnout contests, drunk girls, they were fun to live next to. Sometimes.

That might be the most snowflake thing I've ever seen posted on this forum since I've been here.

If this thread is what it takes to make one hit the ignore button, I can't imagine what your daily existence must be like.

I was thinking the same thing I still don't really understand why he chose to ignore over this lol... but hey it's the way she goes I guess some people really don't like open headers or loud cars but at the end of the day I could really care less...I think it sounds awesome (unlike those weed whacker, sewing machine, ricer cars)... when I'm old maybe ill look back and be like damn I was an obnoxious kid and revert back to the ram horns or something but for now, I'm going to try to enjoy them for as long as I can

If you "F" with the Bull at some point your going to get the horn,,,just saying...
A V8 and open headers does have a distinctive sound, I got over that coolness in about 15 minutes with my 66 SS 396 when I was 18ish.

I havent got sick of it yet dude but I did put sound deadening material in the door panels and the rest of the cabin so its much much quieter when im actually inside the car unless the t tops r off.
