1971 ZR2 Convertible
Thought I would share some photos of a really special car, even though I deal with a plethora of special cars everyday but, since I'm a Corvette guy, that puts them a notch above.
The Mecum Indianapolis auction ended a couple weeks ago, and we're finally wrapping up the last of the inventory for delivery. I won't share who the new owner is, or it's ultimate destination other than I'm taking it out to the West Coast. Absolutely stunning car, pictures don't do it justice. Truly a rare example of Corvette history, and she's a real sweetheart. I know the mileage says 8703 on the windshield but, just a little more actually at 8738. This beautifully kept '71 defines time capsule. Enjoy!!
This is a picture from the Roanoke car show in 2015.
The blue car in the middle of the pic on the left if my 72.
The car on the end of the row is Ed Foss's 71 ZR2, the red
one next to it is a 72 Zr1, maybe an LT-1, can't remember.
