As most of you know I have sold my c3 about 2 years ago. I still enjoy working on the cars so I have taken on some others here projects. Some of you my have seen the 77 I did this past winter. That car is gone and in the owners hands now. I was not really looking for another project for next fall/winter but got a call from David Howard last Friday. Now I have worked on several of Davids cars over the years and have worked on his 74 some. With his problems with is hands and his yellow 71 taking up some of his time he asked if I could get the 74 running and install a Vintage Air system. I will leave the interior work for him as he enjoys that, and I don't. So probably around Oct 1 or so he is bringing me his 74 and I hope to have it back running and ready to go by Christmas. I'll probably start a thread about it just to document progress and I know David likes to see the progress.
Also had an inquiry to swap in a 5 speed in a 4 speed car by someone here on the forum. Don't know if that will ever come about but that is an easy one. All the hard stuff is done, steering column and pedal box don't need changing.
My new boat arrives June 22 so I will be busy this summer entertaining on the new party barge. So no Corvette work this summer.
so what is the boat? i have a kind of rough crownline 248ccr i just chickened out on towing to florida. big block bravo 1.
Due to fuel prices we had to change course slightly. We were going bigger but this will be a little more fuel efficient. Actually just picked this up as a lagoon cruiser to get us to the bars and friends houses.
I’ll upload the newer one as soon as I get a good picture of it. Basically a 25 foot luxury Tri toon. I call it the party barge.
