I drove a 70 Camaro in high school and my 81 tassel stayed their for maybe the summer. Where it went after that I have no idea. Nothing has hung from my rear view mirrors since then. It was kind of annoying.
Oh course . When I graduated HS in 77 it was a tradition. Its the time frame of these old Timer Vettes (and me).Mine are color coordinated. The 72 Ontario orange with a black interior has a 72 orange and black tassel and the convertible1969 Lemans blue with a blue interior has a white soft top so its sporting a 69 with a blue and white tassel. The only other item on the mirror is the American legion poppy!!!
