On a car that's over 45 years of age. Condition is everything when talking value. Low mileage means nothing if it's had none maintenance.
Rubber parts get old and perish. Bearings that haven't turned in years get rust on them and then fail. Brake fluid turns to sludge. Etc. etc. etc.
anywhere from 5k to 25k. i got my 75 vert for cheap, but it was hit and neglected. and sight-unseen from copart. (insurance total auction site) one of these days i will get it cleared salvage. i should have kept the clean 75 coupe i got from another auction site that was a donation. most likely owner died of old age and heirs thought donating was a good idea. (used to be when you could write off however much you decided it was worth.) i paid 6k for it and it is probably worth 16-20 now. sold it for the 6 i paid.
