No, those records don't exist. National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) offers a basic historic document service that can provide dealer code, dealer zone number, dealer name and dealer address (if available) and the date the car was produced.
Sometime after 2005 GM Media Archives stopped sending out the Dealer Invoices for certain year cars.
At the time you just filled out a form and a copy of the invoice was sent to you at no charge.

Start here. I also have a 1978 and they did have a copy of the Dealer Invoice in their records. I did this last year, 2021. The dealer invoice has what you are looking for (what dealer, what options, date of build, date of ship, suggested pricing etc). You will get it in a matter of days via email in PDF format.
