Hi Everyone,
I wanted to wish my baby a happy birthday. She has stayed with one family. It started with my mom. I remember, I was 10 years old, the whole family went to see these beautiful vehicles. Green, White , Orange & of course Red. After my mom passed away, the car went to my father. My father didn’t have the heart to sell it because it was my mom’s car that she loved.
This is how the car was after I took over procession of her. Nothing had been done to her for 20 years. My father basically said “Bring her back to where she was new” so I made a promise to do so. After 5 years of cleaning, painting & fixing everything that didn’t work - which were a lot
here is what she looks like -
so I wanted to celebrate her 50th birthday
A toast of Johnny Walker - 50 year old Scotch for her.
Happy Birthday - “Virginia’s Pride” You still turn heads after 50 years.
Thanks
Mark F.

2nd that. Bet it's putting a big smile on your mom's face too knowing it's still in the family and that you are getting to enjoy it as much as she did.
Thank you guys for the nice compliments. Recently, I was at a Corvette car show & I must have been parked for 5 minutes & a guy came up to me and said “Nice car, what year? This is exactly what I am looking for.How much are you selling for?” I said not selling, he asked me again, what do you want? 50-60K ? I said you could offer me $100K, I am not selling her. He got mad because I wasn’t selling her. Very sentimental to me
So I stayed most of the day speaking to a lot of very nice corvette guys. Won best C3 car.
Thanks
Mark F.
