Hi all , I am trying to install rear speakers (not factory) in my 75 and eliminate my front speakers because they a dead .. I took off the speaker harness , however I do not know what wire to hook up to new speakers . any help would be appreciated. Thanks
If that is a 3 wire connector (my photo circled in RED) that is the harness to the dash speakers.
The connector it plugs into is the radio speaker plug and you would connect your new speakers to the radio plug.
BLK to each speaker
LT.GRN Right Speaker
DK.GRN Left Speaker
If the factory radio, make sure you use 8-10ohm speakers. I just replaced my '72's dash speakers with a pair from this outfit: http://turnswitch.com/speakers.htm Easy to deal with, quick shipping and good instructions.
