Well, I like the headlight conversion so well that I'm now considering the wiper conversion (Richard's kit). Those of you who have done this, did you have to remove the wiper door? I know the grille must be removed. Also, where did you tap in for power (red wire +12v.) ? Thanks in advance, Ken
I can't say enough nice things about @Richard454 Wiper Door kit. It was really fun to install. The instructions were perfect. The engineering is top notch. His design for the quick release is clever and works great. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to upgrade from the old vacuum system. Here are some photos of my install and a few videos of it working. Thanks Richard.
It just would be a lot easier just to have with each kit like everything else you buy but other wise I really like the kit .
The fact that the 17 pages of detailed instructions are not in the box, but online bothers you? I've bought many items that refer you to online downloads for instructions. Paper and CDs just aren't aren't included with stuff anymore. Computers and photography for hobbies will really bother you. (No put down, I wish the instructions for everything were included, too !)

Finally done, and happy to get rid of the vacuum system. Those parts are now occupying shelf space in the basement. Here are some pics and comments....
. Fits well.....I attached the relay to the inner fender so it doesn't dangle.
I ran the ground wire to the wiper motor ground terminal. Buried under all those wires, I spliced the +12v power wire into the wiper door limit switch, before the switch for a constant power source. I used the supplied connectors to splice into the yellow and blue wires of the wiper motor connector. (It was harder to do than described because of my 50+ year old worn stock connector).
Installed the roller switch in place of the vacuum switch. Removed the OEM bracket with the switch attached, then removed the switch. I had to elongate the slots on the OEM bracket about 1/4" to fit the roller switch in position on mine. Yours may vary. The roller contacts the wiper arm holder, not the arm itself.
Notice all relays and vacuum hoses removed
All vacuum hoses removed, since headlight and wiper door actuators have been converted to electric.......
Note to those with factory A/C or who want to maintain your factory chrome wire shields (there are some of us still left); you must order the A/C installation package. He supplies a different motor bracket which rotates the bracket from the fender side to the engine side to avoid the A/C equipment. A bracket modification is also necessary (Richard has specs) if you wish to go have the bracket go around the chrome shielding. Richard WILL answer your e-mails and WILL talk you through installation if necessary.
I know this thread is a couple of years old but I just wanted to say Richard's kit is still working flawlessly along with his headlight kit. He now offers a 3D printed cover that snaps on the wiper motor to cover that ugly white piece.

Where to get this cover? I'd like to get it for mine......
