The hunt continue. 78
Picked up 78 for son. Hadn’t run in few years. It’s had lots of hands in it. Got her to run. Carb now out for rebuilding. New brakes and hoses. Now deep into dash electrics. Shifter light comes on, and dims but not dash lights. Even cleaned speedo socket and bulb. How does printed circuit plug to dimmer?
found a great tool to chase electric. It connects to battery has a lit probe that can send + or - to tip. Reads voltage and ohms. I’m good with a meter but this is way faster! Can go directly to a blower motor and power it. Amazon has them Autool circuit tester.
